What Metal Do Doctors Use In Knee Replacement Surgery?
Me and my spouse don’t agree on this. I say stainless steel or maybe titanium. My other half says silver.

I believe it’s titanium – it’s strong and light. Silver would be far too expensive.
My boss just had a knee replacement surgery and his is made of a titanium alloy. It was supposed to have been some kind of state-of-the-art device that was not proven yet, but he is doing quite well so far. I hope that helps.
Silver is way too soft of a metal! It wouldn’t last.
Definitely titanium (strong, light, expensive) or steel (strong, heavy, cheaper).
It’s titanium. They don’t use steel because it’s not hypoallergenic like titanium is, and it weighs less.
My new knee is stainless steel and titanium. No silver.
