Women recovering in the home is like a husband recovering at his work. I’d like to know when I can get backto my”CHORES”, making dinner, doing laundry and such. How can I just lay there and watch my home go to ruin? If anyone has had this dilema, please advise!

What’s A Good Pedometer Goal For A 60+ Person With One Knee Replacement And Needing The Other Replaced Too?

Goal actually depends on more than the knee. Have you asked your medical doctor? Among other considerations, are function of heart and lungs, diet, any other chronic condition.
I don’t walk much in the winter, but come spring, I start with one mile. I do that several times a week, then progress slowly. Often, by October, I can do 5 miles. That is miraculous consddering that I am 71 next month and haven’t been able to quit smoking yet.

I’m seeking alternatives to traditional knee replacement surgery. I would like to hear from arthritis and orthopedic patients who have experienced or investigated “biologic” (natural) joint replacements, versus “bionic” (artificial) joint replacements. I also would like to hear from people who know of any other total knee replacement alternatives currently available. Thank you.
