Does Anyone Know How Much Glucosamine/chondroitin I Should Give My Dog To Help Heal A Torn Ligament?
My terrier (18lbs) has torn her acl ligament. I’ve found on the web that glucosamine/chondroitin helps to heal this problem, but I can’t find any information about how much to give her. My vet doesn’t know (I’m from a small town and the local vet tends to prescribe pain medicine rather than vitamins). Does anyone know where I can find this out?

How Much Glucosamine/chondroitin/msm Should I Give My 14 Year Old Weimaraner?
He’s been having pretty bad hip problems for the past few months, so I picked up a bottle of “Triple Flex” pills at Walgreens. He is a pretty big dog, around 100 pounds.
They have 500 mg of Glucosamine Hydrochloride, 400 mg of Chondroitin Sulfate, and 125 mg of Methylsulfonylmethane in each pill.

Can I Give My Dog My Human Glucosamine Pills For Her Arthritis?
My dog is limping after long walks now. She’s 11. She used to take doggie glucosamine for her arthritis and I was wondering if I could give her some of mine that I buy at the drugstore.

Is It Safe To Give A Dog Glucosamine Capsules?
I think my dog has arthiritis and i read on the internet that glucosamine should be good. I have some glucosamine capsules that are meant for humans, so is it safe to give to my dog?
Btw, it is Glucosamine Sulfate.
Also, is aspirin alright to?

What Dosage Of Glucosamine & Chondroitin Would You Give To A 13kg Cavalier?
I give my Cavalier glucosamine capsules, but someone said to me that glucosamine & chondroitin works wonders for a dog with bad joints (they also had a Cavalier). What rough dosage & strength would you recommend of these capsules for a 13kg Cavalier?

How Much Glucosamine Should I Give My Dog?
My 9 year old dog has arthritis. I’m going to start giving her glucosamine to help. She’s about 104 pounds and the glucosamine I have is Glucosamine HCl, 1500 mg per tablet. My vet said one per day would be fine, but I also read that doubling the dose for the first 1-2 weeks helps. So would it be okay to give her 2 tablets per day instead of 1? Or would that hurt her?
