Question About Knee Replacement Surgery?

So I am writing this on behalf of my mom who wants to have the surgery but is unsure what 2 xpect. She is 50 and has been putting the surgery off for 15 years. Also she has a desk job that requires very little walking and wonders if she can go back 2 work 4 weeks after the surgery?

Has Anyone Had Knee Replacement Surgery Or Know About It?

I am about to undergo it in about one month. I have a lot of arthritis in one knee and the pain is realoy bad. I have cortisone injections but due to prior surgery the scar tissue build up has made the injections difficult to adminster. I just want to live pain free and be able to excersise to lose wieght and feel better. Will the surgery enable me to do that?

I Need A Physical Therapist To Answer Question About My Knee Replacement Recovery?

My knee only bends 65 degrees.Im doing vigorous therapy 3 times a week with a PT, and 4 times a week on my own.My Therapist says I can get it up to 92 degrees in one mo. Is this realistic? And if so, what will happen to my knee after I stop therapy? Will my knee go back to 65 degrees? I have really bad scar tissue.Your help would b e greatly appreciated,
