physiotherapy exercises the hospital gave me ,is this enough?

The amount of pain you describe sounds excessive. It should be improving at this point. Please make an appointment to see your doctor.
Yes, the physiotherapy exercises are enough and will work fine. It will take some time for you to heal.
I hate to put a damper on you, but my own Husband had both knees replaced in 2005 due to an auto accident. He was told he would Never be able again to get on his knees in any form or fashion. To date he can bend, but he still cannot tolerate ANY pressure on his knees. Just be Thankful that you didn’t have to have both elbows replaced as well. My Husband had to have this done also and still is in future need of having his left shoulder replaced.
I am actually quite amazed myself with your even being on the internet at your age! You must be taking really good care of yourself. Keep up the great work and do your exercises. My Husband did NOT stay with his exercises. This may be the result of his not still not being able to put any pressure on his knees.
Hi, my mom had a knee replacement back in Jan 07! She still has some pain. not like the pain before the knee replacement. It is getting better..
