3.5 months since the whole knee replacement operation and the leg is swelling and it gets very stiff. Is this normal at this stage?

Sounds as if the cement may have failed to hold the new joint in place which can lead to bleeding and swelling in the joint, as well as infection. Please to see your ortho specialist as soon as possible.

Addition:
At twelve to fifteen weeks after your surgery, you should have begun to take part in most of the activities you were involved in prior to the surgery. The only limitiation should be the range of motion which might not be as great as it was prior to the surgery.
You should immeidately contact your attending physician and seek further professional care.

Originally there were three answers posted with the one that has been removed directing others to a video. The video said that to whatch the same one had to add an active x control by down loading.
It took this one several days to get the spyware such added off of his computer.
