How Long Does It Take To Recover From A Total Knee Replacement?
Also wanted to know what kind of jobs people are doing after this operation….the info is for a friend, a 49 yr old male, who is feeling ‘down’ 4 weeks post op…thanks!

4 weeks is normal…….but you must be faithful to the post tkr regime of exercises they give you. The knee will not heal on its own, you have to build it back up with exercise and you should be going to physical therapy
6 – 8 weeks, after that you must do exercise regularly.
