Does Anyone Have Any Tips About Life After Knee Replacement?

Stay as active as possible. Otherwise the muscles get too tight.
Stay as active as you can. But having a knee replacement you will find a new lease of life as you will find you CAN do more with less pain.
Just don’t kneel down. Also do the exercises the Physiotherapist gives you religiously as they are designed to help you improve the muscles that have become weak through inactivity.
I looked after an old lady who had a knee replacement and she bought a set of pedals from a health catalogue. Each day when sitting she would have a short spell on her pedals. At first she could only push them a little bit but each day she managed a bit more and was so chuffed when she got them over the top.She used them for quite a while building up the strength in her leg.I hope this of some help to you.
